Direct Primary Care is a healthcare model that provides personalized and comprehensive medical care for the cost of a membership. In this system, patients pay a monthly subscription fee for comprehensive and personalized medical services. This approach aims to eliminate the traditional fee-for-service model and insurance intermediaries, fostering a more direct and unhurried doctor-patient relationship while often reducing overall healthcare costs for patients.
We do not bill conventional insurance.
Key Components of Direct Primary Care
Membership Based
Monthly or annual fees paid by the patient. The direct primary care provider bills the patient, not the insurance company. The fees are affordable and comparable to other health related memberships.
Enhanced Access
You will not have to wait months to be seen. We can see patients in-person and via telehealth. You will not wait months to be seen. We also have convenient Saturday hours.
Personalized Care
Direct Primary Care emphasizes personalized and patient-centered care. With fewer patients than a traditional practice, we spend more time with each patient to develop a personalized care plan.
Preventive Care
We want to keep you healthy and prevent disease. We strive to educate take a proactive approach to health.
Coordination of Care
We will make referrals to integrate you primary care with community partners including imaging, laboratory, specialists and many other services available to give you the best care possible.
In-depth Consultations
We will take the time to learn about you and hear your story. We will work with you to meet your health goals.
Not Typically Covered By Insurance
Direct Primary Care is not covered by health insurance plans. Patients pay the membership fee out of pocket or through a health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) as eligible.
It's important to note that Direct Primary Care is not a replacement for health insurance, as it does not cover major medical expenses like hospitalizations or surgeries. Instead, it complements traditional insurance by providing more personalized and accessible primary care services.
